Can I get “stuck” in trance?
No one can get stuck in hypnosis. You are in complete control at all times. You may be so relaxed and content in this state that you want to stay a bit longer. The only thing that could happen is that you could fall asleep after and wake up later feeling great!
I can’t be hypnotized!
Everyone who can visualize or daydream can be hypnotized. We are all in this altered state right before we fall asleep and right before we wake up. You have to be willing to and want to be hypnotized. It’s always up to you, you are in control.
Can a hypnotist use mind control on me and make me do things that I would never do?
You are aware and in control at all times. You cannot be made to do anything that is against your morals or your personal code of ethics.
Who can be hypnotized?
Anyone who wants to be hypnotized can be. We enter this altered state of conscious daily. Have you ever been so engrossed in a movie, show or book and lost track of time? Have you arrived home after work and don’t remember most of the drive home? This is your subconscious mind taking over.
